Speaker Coaching

What kind of coaching support do you need?

We can all improve how we present ourselves and our ideas to the world. But what we need to learn and practice to improve, and how much of it we need, varies wildly from one person to another, and even among one person’s seasons of life and career status.

I offer three main types of speaker coaching based on your needs.

Ongoing speaker coaching

You are interested in improving your public speaking skills for everyday use. Improved public speaking means better career and job prospects.

Focused on the long goal, you will create short-term, measurable, project-based goals that will increase your confidence and skills.

One-time speaking opportunity

You don’t do a lot of public speaking, and you don’t plan to do much on a regular basis. But you’ve booked an engagement and you want to knock it out of the park.

We can make a plan and decide on an approach that supports your goals for your speaking engagement.

“Quick hit” support

You’re in the middle of preparation for a speaking engagement, and close to showtime. You need eyes and ears on your presentation, and we don’t have much time to work together.

Let’s meet to discuss your timeline and your most pressing needs. We will figure it out!

I wrote a book on the topic of public speaking, too! If you want a field guide to a tried-and-true method to write, practice, and deliver a short-form (5-10 minute) presentation, give Tiny Talks, Big Impact: A Guide to Short Speeches for Busy People a read.

Available on Kindle, in paperback, and in hardcover formats.
